Maintenance Recommendations According To Product Type

Care recommendations according to the type of product:

  • Keep clothes/products away from heat and fire. Due to their characteristics, natural or synthetic products are easily flammable or can dissolve.
Clothes:
  • To clean waxed cotton products, clean the stains with a cold, damp sponge and let dry. Do not dry clean or apply chemical detergents. You can apply stain-repellent solutions to parts that get dirty frequently, but make sure that these solutions do not damage the product and/or other products.
  • Due to their sewing characteristics, design and performance, the care and maintenance of the entire garment must be carried out according to the instructions printed on the care label of your product. Otherwise, your product may deform.
Denim products:
  • Denim products are dyed indigo. Due to the natural characteristics of indigo, their color may fade due to washing and use. Denim products can also rub against other products that are exposed to friction during use (such as underwear) and against other light-colored products that are washed together.
  • Wash denim products separately or with products of similar colors to avoid this, and be sure to wash them inside out.
Swimwear:
  • Swimwear (such as swimsuits, bikinis, or bathing suits) can be damaged by sunscreens, suntan oils, or chlorinated water. For this reason, rinse them immediately after use in cold water and dry them in the shade.
Products that do not require ironing:
  • Twist products (usually pleated fabrics) tightly and tie them while they are damp after washing. Once dry, untie the knot, unfold them and hang them up. Do not iron these products.
  • Make sure not to iron pleated products.
Wool products:
  • If the care label indicates that your products can be machine washed, wash them on a very delicate program.
  • Hand wash other woolen garments in cold water, without rubbing, and rinse them. Never dry them in a dryer.
  • Washing at high temperatures or drying in a machine can cause woolen products to shrink.
  • Due to friction during use, the structure of the fabric and the grainy parts on the surface, pilling may appear over time.
  • Iron woolen garments at a low temperature. Be careful not to exceed the temperatures specified on the care labels.
Knit products:
  • Wash your knitted products at a low temperature and make sure that the ironing does not exceed one or two marks, depending on the type of product. Follow the recommendations on the care labels.
  • Due to their structure, knitted products may deform or stretch when drying. Therefore, dry them flat according to the type of item.
Synthetic products:
  • Products made of synthetic fabric are very sensitive to temperature. They should be washed in cold water and ironed at a low temperature, without steam.
  • Due to the structure of their fabric, they are easily flammable. Avoid drying them near heat sources such as radiators or stoves.
